After a much awaited NTR’s Janatha Garage released today. After success of “Naanaku Prematho” NTR worked with Koratala Shiva for this high budget movie. Whether Koratala gets his hattrick hit or not.
Satyam (Mohanlal) establishes an auto garage in Hyderabad in early 1980’s. He goes on helps the needy. Soon he becomes a leader to their locality. Anand(NTR) natural lover who goes to any extent to improve the environment. One day suddently Anand comes down to Hyderabad and gets into a scuffle with satyam and his gang members. Impressed with Anand’s aggressive and righteous nature, Satyam asks him to take his garage. Why…? And what is motive..?. That forms the rest of the story which should be seen on big screen.
NTR has excelled once again where performance is concerned. He has shown his maturity when he does the scene of Samantha leaving him. After a long time Malayalam super star acted in this film. He is the backbone of the film. His full character gives the film a lot of weight. Samantha and Nithya Menen wasted in the movie. They only come for the songs in the movie. Sai Kumar’s role is laughable. Villainism by Unni and Sachin Khedekar also failed. Kajal Agarwal’s item song comes in wrong time where she tried to spice up the screen.
Devi Sri Prasad music for the film is full positive. Background score in the second half elevates the proceeding to the decent level. The film boasts high technical values with top-notch camera work by renowed cinematographer Thiru and great art work. Camera work is below average. Director Koratala shiva has done just an Okay to the film. Dialogues are good but direction and narration are not effective.
This is an emotional action drama which needs some repairs.
